Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Cinematura collects, uses, and protects your data when you visit our site. Cinematura does not require registration or an account to use any feature of the service.

What data we collect

• Server logs: Like any website, our server automatically logs technical information on every request, such as IP address, browser type, and access time. This data is used solely for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting, and is kept for a limited period.

• Browser local storage (localStorage): Features like favorites (movies, TV shows, radio stations), recently-played history, and your theme preference (light/dark) are stored entirely in your browser, on your device. This data is never sent to our servers and we have no access to it. Clearing your browsing data will erase it.

Data from third-party providers

Cinematura sources movie, TV, and people data from The Movie Database (TMDB) and radio station data from Radio Browser. When you play a radio station, the audio stream comes directly from that station's own server to your device — it does not pass through our servers — and may be subject to that station's own privacy practices. We have no control over these third parties' privacy practices.

Advertising

Αυτή τη στιγμή το Cinematura δεν εμφανίζει διαφημίσεις. Αν στο μέλλον προστεθούν διαφημίσεις (π.χ. μέσω Google AdSense), θα ενημερώσουμε την παρούσα πολιτική και θα εμφανίσουμε σχετικό μήνυμα συναίνεσης πριν από την τοποθέτηση οποιουδήποτε διαφημιστικού cookie, όπως απαιτεί η νομοθεσία.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and object to the processing of any data that may concern you (e.g. an IP address in access logs). You can contact us at architektwn@proton.me for any such request, and you may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Minors

The service is not specifically directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material change will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of the page.
